Overview:
The Project Coordinator's role is to interact with customers and internal departments of Automated Circuit Design (ACD) to ensure that projects flow through the ACD process as smoothly as possible; and to achieve quality results by the customer's requested deadline. Project Coordinators receive input from customers that is used to produce the end product. It is the responsibility of the coordinator to distribute the inputs to the proper departments at ACD to complete the work. The coordinator sets up schedules for the project based on the customer's needs and ACD workload. Coordinators take ongoing feedback and make independent judgments and decisions regarding the details of the project, as well as determining the best practices to complete the work as required for the customer. The coordinator takes feedback from customers and employees to improve processes for future projects.
Responsibilities:
- Process requests for quotes from customers.
- Convert quotes into active orders.
- Ensure accurate customer and billing information to prepare orders for invoicing when completed.
- Receive data from customers and distribute to appropriate departments to complete the project.
- Track and maintain updates or changes to data received from customers for in process work.
- Set schedule for each phase of the project, and adjust schedule as needed.
- Monitor the projects in process and alert customer of any problems, questions, or issues that arise during the course of the work.
- Maintain customer orders and ensure correctness of information prior to project completion.
- Ensure that billing information is confirmed and entered on customer orders prior to project completion.
- Oversee overall project flow.
- Follow up with customers to verify satisfaction with the product received, and encourage continued business.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of office experience preferred. Two years of MS Office preferred.
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry a plus but not required.
Physical requirements include
- Candidate must be able to walk, sit, and/or stand for extended periods of time. Candidate must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
