PCB Designer

This is for a Design Layout position. This is not an engineering position. Candidate must have recent Allegro experience.

Work in a collaborative team environment to review and analyze electrical schematics and supporting documents to interpret electrical design requirements & create board layouts, detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
Creating unique designs of rigid PCBs, flex PCBs, and/or rigid flex PCBs from conception to manufacturing including: components placement, routing, constraints, library part creation, Gerber file creation, and all related documentation within the assigned tool.

Provide excellent customer service.
Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all printed circuit design, including manufacturing data.
Provide support during product development, production and continuous improvement.
Managing relationships with 3rd party PCB manufacturing partners.
Maintain administrative task to allow management to follow design process.
Provide peer checks for internal design process.
Maintain on time delivery of PCB design.
Manage design project for fabrication and assembly.
Consulting with engineers to determine hardware functions.
Design, document, and create design database based on user specifications.
Other duties as assigned.

Trained in PCB design in Allegro 16+.
3+ years experience.
Knowledge of high speed busses. DDR, LVDS, and SERDES.
Familiar with PCB fabrication methods. Must know Multi-layer, rigid flex, flex, blind and buried vias, and material stack-ups.
